Senior Partner and Head of Family
Paul is a solicitor and senior partner dealing with all aspects of running the business and compliance. Paul also has a caseload of matrimonial work having been a matrimonial specialist for over 20 years.
Andrea Waring
Partner and Head of Property
Andrea is a partner solicitor dealing with residential and commercial property. Andrea is a specialist property lawyer with over 20 years’ experience. Andrea has worked in the Waterside since 1998 and therefore has substantial experience of this area. Andrea however also has a significant number of high net worth clients living in London and throughout the country and abroad.
Matthew Knight
Associate Solicitor and Head of Private Client
Matthew is a senior solicitor and has been at the firm since its inception in 2010. Matthew is a local man having been educated at King Edward VI in Southampton before going to Oxford University. Matthew is a pre-eminent expert in Wills Probate and Trust law. Matthew is also a Notary Public.
Gwyneth Allsopp
Consultant Solicitor
Gwyneth has recently joined us as a solicitor consultant. Gwyneth is extremely experienced and has previously owned her own practice. Gwyneth has a portfolio of residential and commercial property work and has her own following.
Reece Roath
Solicitor
Reece is a solicitor who has recently joined the firm and is based in our Totton office but who sees clients from both Totton and Hythe offices. Reece joins the expanding family team and deals with Children cases, Injunctions as well as Divorce and Finances.
Rebecca Freeman
Senior Conveyancing Executive
Rebecca is an experienced senior conveyancing executive working out of our Totton office. Rebecca recently joined the firm and is very well respected locally. Rebecca is the lead conveyancer in the Totton office and compliments a very experienced team already there. Rebecca is also the lead executive in our specialist new build team.
Melissa Chester
Conveyancing Executive
Melissa joined us previously having worked for Bond Dickinson in Southampton in their commercial and residential property departments. Melissa is a conveyancing executive working on residential and new build work. Melissa is an associate member of ILEX.
Sue Bullivant
Senior Conveyancing Assistant
Sue is based at the Hythe office and has worked as Andrea’s assistant at this firm and their previous firm. Sue is particularly experienced in post exchange work and is an extremely safe pair of hands.
Michele Bennett
Senior Conveyancing assistant
Michele Bennett works out of our Totton office and deals with residential sales and purchases.
Sara Green
Senior Family Assistant
Sara works for Paul and Reece doing matrimonial work and also assists with property work at the Hythe office.
Jenny Jewell
Senior Conveyancing Assistant
Jenny works as assistant to Matthew Knight and also assists the property team in Hythe.
Jayne Shefferd
Senior Private Client assistant
Jayne is a very experienced assistant and works for Matthew Knight and the property team.
Lisa Essery
Conveyancing assistant
Lisa is in the administration team and supports both Totton and Hythe offices.

Janine has recently joined us having worked in the area for many years as a family law support team member at a large regional firm.

Mandy Netherwood
Accounts Manager
Mandy is our accounts and office manager. Mandy has worked with Paul and Andrea for over 20 years and has extensive experience of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and also practice financial management.
Cathy Smith MAAT
Cathy is an experienced Office and Accounts manager who assists Mandy in the accounts department.
