Conveyancing
Your matter will be dealt with by a conveyancer and overseen by a qualified solicitor and partner providing the expertise and experience to ensure your property transaction proceeds as smoothly efficiently and quickly as possible and with the minimum of stress. Andrea Waring is our head of property and in addition to residential property work we are able to advise on commercial matters such as commercial leases and buying and selling businesses
Wills and probate
Our team have years of experience in drafting wills and dealing with probate and estate administration. We are also able to give lifetime planning advice including making LPAS.
We are experienced in the particular needs of elderly clients, and in providing sensitive advice to families. Matthew Knight heads the department. Matthew has substantial experience in this field and is also a Notary Public.
Family law
We offer constructive pragmatic advice to clients whether at the beginning of their relationships or at the end. We have experience in dealing with divorce, financial settlements and issues about children. We give our clients real commitment and value and are able to offer tailored advice packages to suit the requirements and means of our clients.
Initial Consultation
Package 1
We offer a one hour interview for a fixed fee of £150 including VAT.
Package 2
As above but with a full typed attendance note of the interview sent to you £225 including VAT
We offer a fixed price divorce of £720 including VAT and expenses. This does not include any advice about the the finances not children. Full terms and conditions of the fixed fee are available on application.
We are happy to agree to a fixed fee for other areas of family work although we find it works best for the client if a fixed fee is agreed with the client after an initial consultation. Similarly we are happy to provide an no obligation estimate of fees for the whole case after the first consultation when we know what is likely to be involved so that the client can make an informed choice.
